You and I are valued beyond measure.

We are not valuable because we are a member of a certain group or because we call the Creator a unique name.

We are not valuable because we follow a particular teacher, leader, guru or saint.

We are not valuable because of our spiritual discipline or special diet.

We are valuable because we are a spark of the Divine Creator and an expression of pure divine Love.

The Creator is only described two times in all of the Christian Bible; once as Love and once as Light. Scripture also says that we are made in the image and likeness of the Creator. Thus, we are Love and Light.

The only thing that gurus, priests, rabbis and elders can do for us to to point us back in the direction of home, our home is within, and fan that divine spark of Love.

SERAPHIM CENTER is proud that our own Rev. Dr. Becky Covington has been chosen by the Alliance of Divine Love, Inc., an internationally recognized ordination and education service, as a Teacher for presenting ADL classes and The Ministerial Preparation series in Northern Florida. This is an Inner-Faith and New Thought-oriented, personal spiritual development program that leads to ordination and access to religious non-profit status. The purpose of this program is to assist the candidate to unfold a heightened inner awareness and spiritual commitment. Upon completion, the student is legally ordained as a Minister, with all the responsibilities, privileges and blessings accorded that revered station. The Ministerial Preparation Program is a three part/book series and it can be accomplished at once or one part/series at a time.
The ordination service on February 9th was just one of the most special occasions of my experience thus far! The sense of Love was so solid and substantial that you could sense that, even physically, you could almost reach out and touch it. I was so humbled and grateful to have found this avenue upon which to grow and share that it is going to take a little time to put all this into words. But, for now, I wanted to say thank you again for being your wonderful, spiritually inspired Light-Worker-self that you are and for having the courage to move forward with your work and the Seraphim Center.

Much love, gratitude, and glorious anticipation in our work ahead!!

Reverend. Marcia Dunscombe, Valdosta Georgia

I thank you for the wonderful experience of the ADL class and the opportunity to meet with my fellow classmates. It's been quite a journey. This writing comes form "A Course In Miracles" text and it expresses the love I feel for you and your kindness to me and our Oneness. Rev. Jean Wiley
In you is all of Heaven. Every leaf that falls is given life in you. Each bird that ever sang will sing again in you. And every flower that ever bloomed has saved its perfume and its loveliness for you. What aim can supersede the Will of God and of His Son, that Heaven be restored to him for whom it was created as his only home? Nothing before and nothing after it. No other place; no other state nor time. Nothing beyond nor nearer. Nothing else. In any form. This can you bring to all the world, and all the thoughts that entered it and were mistaken for a little while. How better could your own mistakes be brought to truth than by your willingness to bring the light of Heaven with you, as you walk beyond the world of darkness into light?

The Spirituality We Have Learned, written by a Ministerial class, presented to the National ADL conference in Orlando, FL April 18, 2004 and again presented at their Ordination, June 2, 2004 as to their experience in this program.

We now define spirituality. It is a feeling of flow, an inner richness and energy, a feeling of oneness and harmony with all beings and things around us. We simply feel good and peaceful and whole. We can become aware of states of being that seem to enhance our connectedness with Spirit or sense of spirituality, and we are more in tune with how to create and maintain those environments in our every day life and help others do the same. Here goes! Our spirituality happens when....

We come from Love. We take what comes our way and embrace it with Divine Love. We do this all the time! It comes into play 24 hours a day! Since we come from Love, we send radiant Love through our words, actions, thoughts, and creations. It follows that we wish to create, feel energized, and live in a healthy, loving way. We are willing to be authentic and live in integrity.

We are accepting and non-judgmental. We recognize that all acts are an expression of Love or as plea for love. We want accept each person for who they are and where they're at, including ourselves! We don't judge or overly criticize ourselves or others.

We are open-minded. We believe that there are many ways of being, living, and finding solutions. We strive let each person find their own path. There are as many paths to the Divine as there are people. We don't presume to know it all.

We seek a broader perspective and look for the gems, the hidden Miracles, in all situations. We calmly observe, trusting our intuition, as we seek to find the lessons, miracles or gems in all that life and the Universe brings to our attention directly or through others. We do this no matter how bleak or desperate circumstances or situations initially appear.

We live in the eternal Now and radiate with confidence. We understand that, in a few months, a few years, or a few generations from now, things will look very different when we look back and reflect on today. We recognize that what we do today, will affect generations in the future. We offer ourselves and others our genuine presence by living in this moment fully and authentically giving mindful consideration to any decision or action.

We live with honor, dignity, and respect. We don't presume to be above or below anyone or anything. We see the divine, the Master, the teacher and the miracle in all we meet, including ourselves! We emulate the ebb and flow of the seasons and find peace while taking time to be with nature. We pay attention to the new growth, within ourselves or in others, and happily reflect that back.

We honor and treat every encounter as a blessing. We are aware that the Universe (Spirit/Higher Power/Goddess/God...) speaks through small things like rainbow images in unexpected places, a red feather in the meadow, a cloud formation in the sky, or a special song on the radio. Everyone and everything matters! There is no spot where God is not. We associate with and attract positive, loving people. We remember how children speak innocently with love: we choose to speak our truth gently and quietly.

We give freely. We are no longer controlled by thinking "what's in it for me?" before we give or respond. We believe that what we give freely will be received and come back in some way, at some time, when it is right, in much greater measure. We release our attachment and let the Universe provide us opportunity.

We affirm the positive and do not resist the negative. We seek for and empower what we want, not for what we do not want. We know that what we resist, persists.

We live with beauty, vision, intuition, and intention. We take the time daily to connect with the Divine and sense what the Divine really wants for our lives. We get in touch with what our ideal REALLY can be and we keep focused on this. We realize there's so much more to spirituality, and we learn more each day.

We are comfortable in our own skin and wish to help and be of service to others. We hold the space for ourselves and others to just "be." We are spiritual beings who have a soul that lives in a body. We activate our being to sense what other people are sensing. We acknowledge that spirituality is the core and essence of who we really are.

We get out of our own way, depending less on ego and more on Spirit. We desire to develop deeper connections (within and without) with our intuition and with Spirit. We also truly desire to evolve and to help others do the same. We seek to dream, nurture, and flourish and, at the same time, to help others.

We know that the Good News is………
There is only good news.
