Classes on Popular Metaphysical Topics

Awaken Your Spiritual Side

Take part in the classes we offer at The Seraphim Center. These classes cover everything, from the popular A Course in Miracles to Native American spirituality. Each class is led by an expert on the topic and provides an education on an important subject in the physical and metaphysical world. Read below to learn more about each class:

A Course in Miracles

A Course in Miracles is a spiritually orientated curriculum of thought dating back to the 1960s. The Christian-oriented readings were channeled by a Jewish psychiatrist who was a self-professed atheist. She published her writings so others could read and learn from them. In our class, we read a different section of her writings and discuss it each week.

The class is led by Rev. Randy Snow and meets Mondays, from 7:00 pm. to 8:30 p.m.

Native American Spirituality

Taught by a Native American of Cherokee descent, Native American Spirituality teaches about the different spiritual traditions of different Native American tribes.

The class is led by Rev. Randy Snow and meets Wednesdays, from 7:00 pm. to 8:30 p.m.

Adventures in Consciousness

Adventures in Consciousness class members read and discuss different channeled materials. Currently, we focus on the work of Auran, an archangel, which is channeled by Anne Hanna the wife of Tom Hanna, the leader of the class.

The class is meets Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Books dictated by Auran are available for purchase — contact us to learn more.

Seraphim Psychic Circle - First Friday of the Month: We discuss psychic or healing experiences, dreams or symbols that have occurred to people, in the waking or sleeping state, or in a myriad of other ways.

Guided Meditation for World Peace/Inner Peace - Second Friday of the Month: We meditate together to mobilize our resources for inner peace and visualize world peace.

Movie Night - Third Friday of the Month: We watch a movie together that has an uplifting and positive or lighthearted message.

Sunday Service

Along with our weekly classes, we hold Sunday services where members can come together and grow spiritually. Each service begins with music, usually play a song that relates to that day's topic of discussion or current world happenings. The song is always uplifting, positive and most often lyrics are provided.

Following the opening song, Rev. Dr. Janet Moore introduces the presenter and his or her topic of the day. Followed by, a prayer of healing for those who need spiritual assistance. we also make announcements about upcoming events in the Gainesville area, such as arts and crafts fairs, gatherings at the local community centers, and more.

We do a Sunday meditation, channeled weekly by Rev. Moore. The meditation is following by a prayer, written by her late father Dr. Robert Esting, at the founding of The Seraphim Center.

A collection is taken for those who wish to contribute for the work of the center, all contributions are tax-deductible.

A presenter then begins the discussion on the topic for that sunday.

Sunday services are from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A potluck lunch follows the service on the last Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a delicious lunch with members.
