You and I are not valuable because
we are a member of a certain group or because call the Creator a unique
name.
We are not valuable because we follow a particular teacher, guru or
saint. We are not valuable because of our spiritual discipline
or special diet.
We are valuable because we are a
spark of the Divine Creator and an expression of Love.
The Creator is only described two times in all of the Christian Bible;
once as Love and once as Light. Scripture also says that we are made
in the image and likeness of the Creator. Thus, we are Love and
Light.
The only thing that gurus, priests, rabbis and elders can do for us to to
point us back in the direction of home, our home is within, and fan that
divine spark of Love.
Seraphim Center is an open,
inclusive, and diverse fellowship of spiritually and metaphysically motivated seekers,
teachers, healers, and light-workers with an intense desire to explore
ones own divine wisdom and unlimited potential, as we grow in a mutually uplifting, loving,
supportive, and fun environment.
Our Center is Inter-Faith, Multi-Denominational and Trans-Religious.
We strive to live and demonstrate a positive, spiritual and
practical life-style as taught by all the great spiritual master teachers.
We believe in taking
care of our Mother Earth and agree with the Native American proverb,
"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from
our children.
Everyone is welcome to this place of Unconditional Love, Compassion,
and Acceptance.
This Metaphysical Chapel and Spiritual Training Center began with a shared idea by eight "A Course
in Miracles" students and pocket change. On May 1, 1998 we officially opened
to the public in a
very small two story one hundred year Florida stone house. April 15, 2000 we
moved into a 8,200 square foot facility with space and opportunity for
everyone.
September 1, 2005, we have moved into even more attractive surroundings at
412 NE 16th Avenue, Gainesville, Fl
32601. From this location we are planning to build our own Eco-Sanctuary
Spiritual Center
Complex on more than 16 acres on Paynes Prairie.
